Course: Appetizer, Salad, Side Dish, Snack
Cuisine: Mediterranean
Keyword: BBQ, Picnic, Summer
Servings: 4 People

  • 2 medium tomatoes diced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper diced
  • 1 medium red bell pepper diced
  • 1 medium yellow bell pepper diced
  • 3 small cucumbers diced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 rib of celery finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sumac a tangy spice
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • Fresh parsley and mint finely chopped (as much as you like)
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 1 teaspoon fresh Zest finely chopped
  • Salt

  • Get Ready : In a big bowl, throw in those colorful tomatoes, peppers (green, red, and yellow), and cute little cucumbers.
  • Make the Dressing Magic: In another bowl, mix up the olive oil, minced garlic, sumac, zest, and the juice of two lemons.
  • Mix: Pour that magic dressing over the diced veggies in your big bowl. Now, give it a gentle toss – we want every veggie to party together with the dressing. Sprinkle some salt. This is your chance to make it just right for your taste buds.
  • Add Some Crunch: Toss in the finely chopped celery for a satisfying crunch. It’s like a little surprise in every bite.
  • Freshness Overload:
  • Now, for the exciting part! Sprinkle your salad generously with plenty of fresh parsley and mint. These herbs not only smell amazing but also add a burst of freshness and taste
  • Give It One Last Mix: Now, give the salad one more good mix to let all those flavors and colors mingle.

Time to Enjoy : Serve this tasty colourful Mediterranean summer salad as a side dish to your main course, or simply as a light, healthy meal.
